It had been so long since we’ve had snow when that New Year’s snow came at last, I was startled to remember the storm in this photo was in 2021.
In this neighborhood, garage door art is a thing now.

My neighbor Judith Weaver had a raccoon in her closet! I helped by taking a photo of it.

Homeless camp, lower downtown. A problem that’s mushroomed across the nation since Reagan. We know how to fix it; don’t do it.

Sunset at Pacifica, CA, where we met our daughter and grandsons, the one venture we made into the world in 2021.
Oh, the racoon in the coat closet! The shining snow, already last year. But really, how beautiful is all that floor space in Phil’s office? Enjoyed each one of these.
Thanks, J-L!
My daughter thought it was one of my scarves .. great raccoon photo Pat!
You’d look good in a raccoon scarf. I think those were popular in the 1920s, right?
Thanks for the photos. Have a safe Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you too, Barbara!
You finally found my Davie Crockett hat…

Thanks, Pat. Great fun to see these. Hope we get to see each other some time or other in what’s shaping up to be a crazy year. Do you remember the movie “Koyaanisqatsi”? the word “crazy” brings it to mind. I want to watch it again. It might seem sane compared to the present.
I remember “having my mind blown” as we used to say, by that film. Don’t think I could take its static repetitiveness and quick cuts now.It would be interesting to see how our reaction to its message has changed.
